Survey: "Do you support at present a peace agreement based on two states for two peoples?"
Only 47% of Israeli Jews said yes. 46% said no.
Among right-wing Israelis, just 25% favored two-state vs. 91.5% of leftists.
The poll found young people less likely to back a two-state "solution" (only 32% of ages 18-34 vs. 64% of those over 55).
The Peace Index asked respondents to agree to key steps - to prove that Israel truly wants peace.

A majority of Israeli Jews opposed all the conditions that the Israeli government would "have to" accept to reach an agreement:
The greatest opposition (81%) among Israeli Jews was to releasing terrorists. Large majorities also opposed:
recognition of the so-called nakba (77%),
agreeing that part of Jerusalem would be a Palestinian capital (75%),
evacuation of the isolated settlements (71%) and
open border between Israel and the "Palestinian" state (also 71%).
Israeli Arabs of course supported all the "conditions".
