British Jews' official representative body -- the "Board of Deputies" -- had this to say, as their sisters and brothers were deluged with massive unprovoked Arab rocket fire and pogroms throughout the state of Israel:
"Our thoughts and prayers are with ... all those – both Israeli and Palestinian – who are suffering."
and
"the Board of Deputies supports the creation of a Palestinian State, something the Balfour declaration does not negate. The Guardian would be best advised to advocate for this"
