This is very bad for Israel. We citizens must go into high gear. Here are the events that MUST be attended in person, because Eretz Yisrael people who stay out of sight -- soon find ourselves out of mind. Friday - Netivot:

This brave yishuv in the Binyamin area will be going to "their" outpost, Yad Yair, this Friday 27/8, 9:30 to 1 PM, to clean up, garden and maintain. Go up to Minister Edelstein personally and say you came SPECIALLY to say you wish he would make clear statements against Palestinian state because up till now it has not been so clear. If you are not used to this type of political event, feel free to contact Judea and Samaria's rep at the event (one of "our guys", i.e.) -- the famous Natan Englesman, from Shilo 0524317333 - he will be there and tell you what you can do at the event to be helpful. and/or bring an "Obama: Likud says NO to Palestinian terror state" petition and sign people up on it. If you get at least 20 signatures, please contact us at mattot.arim@gmail.com.

 

The Calling Method

If you cannot make yourself SEEN by attending the events above, at least make yourself personally HEARD. CALL all the ministers (phone numbers here: http://www.pmo.gov.il/PMOEng/Government/Offices/).  Ask for "lishkat ha-sar" (minister's suite), then for the minister's political aide, then say you are VERY WORRIED about having a dangerous Palestinian state just a bike-ride away from Jerusalem, Tel-Aviv and Ben-Gurion airport and you would like the minister to work hard to prevent that and to stop the settlement freeze immediately. Ask can he call you back. If anyone refuses to write down your important message, express your disappointment and surprise at this and ask THEM to dictate to you what email address is best to use. Please note: This is a critical period -- EMAILS ARE NOT ENOUGH -- so if you cannot attend events in person, at the very least please could you make calls so your personal worried voice will be heard by the ministers' aides.

האם סביר למשל, שילדיהם של הקצין המצטיין אלירז פרץ ז"ל, אשר גרים ביישוב עלי ושם חסרים מבני חינוך - לא יזכו להנות מחוק חינוך חובה אחרי שאביהם הקריב את חייו למעננו ולמען מייק בלאס? וביהודה ושומרון יש עוד כ-50 אלף לוחמים קרביים - רובם הגדול אבות לילדי גן או ילדי בית-ספר.

Mr. Netanyahu says he intends to do Mr. Obama's bidding and give the Palestinians 500 dunams of land right in the middle of the Binyamin Regional Council and just outside the beautiful Jewish community of Ateret. Tear the mask off this shocking appeasement plan which is being presented so innocently in Haaretz, Yediot and other newspapers. Come this Thursday 12 August to a mask-wearing event on the very site that Mr. Netanyahu says he will give away. Bus: 468 from Jerusalem at 13:55. By car, drive from Ofra in the direction of Shilo. One junction later (Wadi Haramiyah) turn left at the sign. 10 minutes later you will be at Ateret. If you are coming from Tel-Aviv etc., go to the Rantiss roadblock and drive toward Ofarim. MR. POLICE MINISTER -- WHY DID YOU ARREST A MAN OF PEACE?

Read (in English) of Mr. Ish-Shalom's quiet, peaceful rally yesterday:  http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/138996 which -- amazingly - triggered the arrest.

Please write to Mr. Evette-Avigdor Liberman aliberman@knesset.gov.il , head of the Yisrael Beytenu party. This is the party whose minister -- Mr. Police Minister I. Aharonovich -- is in charge of this incident. Ask: Why was Mr. Ish-Shalom arrested for protesting Hamas terrorist release, when a minister from Yisrael Beytenu was Police Minister and could have prevented the arrest? What happened to democracy and freedom of protest? What crime could Mr. Ish Shalom, whose quiet, respectable vigil was videotaped, possibly have committed?

 

When Mr. Liberman responds to you, which he is obliged to do, please send his reply to brave Mr. Ish-Shalom:  davidishalom1@gmail.com with some words of encouragement from you for this dedicated Israeli. Feel free to join Mr. Ish Shalom at his next vigil. He says he will not be intimidated and we do so much hope he will find the strength to continue and prevent this terrible  danger to Israelis, Jews and other innocent people countrywide and worldwide.
