The duplicity of Fayyad and Abbas:
Preaching non-violence
while supporting terror

Contrary to statements by both Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Salam Fayyad and Chairman Mahmoud Abbas supporting a "non-violent resistance," their actions continue to support violence and terror. As Palestinian Media Watch has reported, the PA leaders have repeatedly honored terrorists in well-publicized acts of support in recent months.

The PA leadership's most recent show of terror support was last week, when both Abbas and Fayyad honored one of the notorious terrorists of the first years of the Palestinian terror war (the "Intifada"). The terrorist Abdallah Daud headed the Palestinian intelligence service in Bethlehem, and was actively involved in the Palestinian terror against Israeli civilians. When Israel entered Bethlehem in 2002 in an attempt to eradicate the Palestinian terror, Abdallah Daud was one of the most wanted Palestinian terrorists who stormed into the Church of the Nativity.

For several weeks, Daud and his fellow terrorists continued fighting against Israel from inside the church, essentially using the monks and the religious site as their shields. The confrontation ended when Israel decided to let the terrorists leave without trial and they were deported to foreign countries and Gaza. Daud was sent to Cypress and later Mauritania, where he died last week of natural causes.

Ignoring the crimes and terror that led to Daud's deportation, the PA leaders last week chose to honor the terrorist Daud by giving him an "official" funeral. The official PA daily reported on the funeral with a large picture on its front page.

Abbas sent his personal emissary to the funeral. He spoke in Abbas's name:
"We must maintain the way of the Shahid (Martyr) Daud, who always believed in the struggle, in love of the homeland, and in the realization of national unity." [Al-Quds, March 28, 2010]

Palestinian PM Fayyad chose to honor the terrorist publicly and in person by paying a condolence visit to the home of his family. Fayyad "enumerated the Shahid's (Martyr's) virtues" and noted his "suffering from the injustice of his expulsion." The story of his honoring the terrorist was also reported on the front page of the official PA daily.

Other recent examples of Fayyad honoring terrorists:
On December 26, 2009, Fayyad paid condolence calls to the homes of each of the three terrorists who murdered Israeli Rabbi Meir Avshalom Hai in a drive-by shooting.
On February 14, 2010, Fayyad paid a condolence call to the family of a terrorist who attempted to stab an Israeli soldier.

Other recent examples of Abbas honoring terrorists:
On December 27, 2009, Abbas honored the three terrorists who murdered Israeli Rabbi Meir Avshalom Hai, in a drive-by shooting, calling them "Shahids [Martyrs] of the Palestinian revolution..."
On December 29, 2009, Abbas honored the terrorist Dalal Mughrabi with a birthday party.
On January 17, 2010 Abbas defended naming a square after the terrorist Dalal Mughrabi.
On March 6, 2010 Abbas promoted imprisoned terrorist Mahmoud Damra to major-general.
On March 9, 2010 Abbas's representative honored the terrorist Dalal Mughrabi by calling her the "bridge over which we pass on the way to our freedom."

The following is the report from the front page of the official PA daily about Fayyad's condolences last week:

"Prime Minister Dr. Salam Fayyad yesterday expressed his condolences at the Balata refugee camp in Nablus, over the death of the Shahid (Martyr) Abdallah Daud. The Prime Minister enumerated the Shahid's virtues and said that his death far from the homeland and suffering from the injustice of his expulsion, bestows upon his Martyrdom a clear national and human character."

The following is the report on Abbas's statement read by Mahmoud Al-Aloul, member of the Fatah Central Committee, at the funeral:

"Mahmoud Al-Aloul, member of the Fatah Central Committee, delivered a speech on behalf of President Mahmoud Abbas, during which he recounted the life story of the Shahid (Martyr), who sacrificed his life for his country and for his people. Al-Aloul said that we must maintain the way of the Shahid Daud, who always believed in the struggle, in love of the homeland, and in the realization of national unity."

וואו!!! ארבעה צעירים שמאלניים החליטו להדביק מודעות בתל אביב!!!

לא-חדשות אפילו לעלון בית הספר בו הם לומדים, ודאי שלא למקומון בעיר.

אבל ...העתון הנפוץ במדינה החליט להקדיש להם תמונה בעמודי החדשות (יום חמישי 8.4, עמ' 26) עם כיתוב אוהד במיוחד.

מדהים? כן! אבל מדהים עוד יותר, שמקדישים להם ראיון ארוך במיוחד במוסף שבת של ידיעות אחרונות...

עכשיו נסו לדמיין התייחסות כזו לארבעה צעירים מבית"ר או בני עקיבא שידביקו כמה מודעות בלילה בתל אביב...

תגובת תנועת השטח הימנית מטות ערים על פרשת ענת קם

בעקבות פרשת ענת קם, תנועת מטות ערים הגיבה ואמרה:

"עד היום טרם נפל האסימון אצל כמה אלופים בצה"ל וכמה בכירים בזרועות הבטחון. הבכירים הללו משוכנעים מזה כמה שנים, שהאויב הוא ציבור המתנחלים ואילו השמאל הפרו-פלשתיני הרדיקלי ביותר, הוא "פרוגרסיבי" וראוי לעידוד קידום התחברות ואימון. כך קרה שאלוף פיקוד בצה"ל - יאיר נווה - "לא שם לב" שנעלמו מתחת לאפו אלפיים מסמכים לכיוון הפרו-פלשתיני -- מרוב שהיה עסוק בימי שירותו, ברדיפת מתנחלים ומאחזים פרו-ישראליים.

למשל: הנה מכתב שקיבלנו לפני דקות ספורות - מהמתנחל נריה אופן שנרדף, יחד עם ילדיו הקטנים, על מעשים כגון הדבקת סטיקר "אין ערבים אין פיגועים" על המכונית המשפחתית, ממש באותה תקופה שענת קם פגעה על פי החשד בבטחון המדינה ודווקא לכך - איש במסדרונות השלטון ובאמצעי התקשורת לא שעה.

תנועת מטות ערים שפעיליה הם אזרחים מן השורה התורמים לכל שדרות החיים בכל הערים והאיזורים בארץ, מבקשת מאד מכל הדרג הבכיר בכל זרועות הבטחון והממשל, להחליף דיסקט, ולצמצם, לטובתם ולטובת כולנו, בכל הרמות, את האמון העיוור שלהם באגף הפרו-פלשתיני של הכפר העולמי והישראלי, פרשת ענת קם חייבת להיות מנורת אזהרה לכל אותם בכירים.

מכתב שהתקבל היום מהמתנחל נריה אופן. בס"ד,ניסן תש"ע

שמי נריה אופן, אני תושב גבעת להבה ליד יצהר, אב לשבעה ילדים, בתי הקטנה נולדה לפני כשלושה שבועות. שרתי בצה"ל שרות מלא שלוש שנים ביחידת דובדבן.

לפני חודשיים וחצי המחלקה היהודית בשב"כ הוציאה לי צו הרחקה מביתי למשך שלושה חודשים. ללא כל הסבר מדוע. בשיחה אישית נאמר לי כי אני מהווה: "סכנה לביטחון המדינה".

אבקש להציג בפניך את בפעילותי בזמן האחרון, שמן הסתם היא ה-"סכנה לביטחון המדינה".

·        עבודה עברית.
ביחד עם עוד חברים, אני פעיל במשך שנים במוקד עבודה עברית, הפועל לעידוד קנייה מיהודים בלבד, לקיים ו'חי אחיך עמך'. פעילות המוקד מתמקדת בהסברה, בשידוך בין בעלי מקצוע יהודיים בלבד ללקוחות פוטנציאליים, ועמדה אידיאולוגית שיש להשקיע את מיטב המוחות במציאת פתרונות טכנולוגיים מתקדמים שיאפשרו לבנות משק החי ופועל על ידי יהודים.

·        הר הבית.
ביחד עם עוד חברים פעלתי ליצור קשר בין עם ישראל לבין מקום המקדש.
לפני עשר שנים הפעלתי במשך שנה וחצי את 'משמר המקדש' - משמר קבוע בכניסה להר הבית לשם כבוד ושילוח טמאים. ומזה תשע שנים אני מפעיל עם חברים את 'סיבוב שערים' בכל ערב ראש חודש, אליו מגיעים אלפי משתתפים מידי חודש.

·        ערביי ישראל.
מזה שנים אני מדבר על כך שהאויב המשמעותי הוא בתוך הבית – ערביי ישראל, כנגדו מדינת ישראל לא עושה דבר. אדרבה, במקום לדאוג לאינטרס של העם היהודי, היא מקריבה את האינטרס היהודי על מזבח הדמוקרטיה המשותפת ליהודים ולגויים.
הסוגיה הבוערת ביותר בה אני עסוק בחודשים האחרונים מתמקדת בשכונת  בפסגת זאב בירושלים. בשנים האחרונות עברו לשכונה למעלה משלוש מאות משפחות ערביות. דבר זה גרם שהשכונה והקניונים שלה הפכו להיות מרכז הבילוי של הצעירים הערבים מהשכונות שועפט, בית חנינא וארם. כתוצאה מזה הגענו למציאות בו בשלוש השנים האחרונות בלבד עברו מאה חמישים (!) בנות יהודיות להתגורר עם ערבים, (כולל מקרים של התעללות קשה). הערבים עושים בשכונה כבתוך שלהם, ומה שמתחיל בהסכמה, ממשיך בהתעללות גם בתוככי השכונה.
חשוב לציין, כי משטרת ישראל לא מטפלת בבעיה ואף אין לה את הכלים לכך.
פסגת זאב לא לבד, אותה תופעה קיימת גם בגבעה צרפתית, בנווה יעקב, וכן בשאר שכונות התפר. תופעה זו אם לא תיעצר יכולה למוטט את השכונות הצפוניות של ירושלים.
בשנים האחרונות קמו תושבים יהודיים מקומיים יחידים כדי להפסיק תופעה הזו, אף במחיר של ישיבה בכלא.
פעילותי, המהווה כאמור סכנה לביטחון המדינה הייתה להעצים אותם כגיבורים הדואגים לאינטרס היהודי של עם ישראל, גם במקום בו מדינת ישראל מפקירה אותו.

·        התיישבות.
כתושב במשך שלוש עשרה שנים בגבעת להבה, ודאי שאני פעיל גם בסוגיות התיישבותיות באזור, אך אני לא רואה כל יחוד בפעילותי זאת.

חשוב לציין, כל הפעילות הנ"ל היא גלויה וידועה לרבים. יתר על כן, היא גם חוקית (אחרת מזמן היו מעמידים אותי למשפט).

אני מהווה סכנה לביטחון המדינה, עמדותי האידיאולוגיות, והחשש של המחלקה היהודית בשב"כ שאם עשרות אלפים יצטרפו אליהם בהחלט יש כאן סיכוי לשינוי אמיתי.

ראוי לשירותי הביטחון לדאוג לטובתו של עם ישראל ולא לחינוך מחדש של מי שלא מתיישר עם הקו האידיאולוגי הרווח.

איני משווה בין פעילותי למען עם ישראל לבין פעילותם של אויבי ישראל. יש כאן קל וחומר. צעד זה של הרחקה של אדם ממשפחתו (משפחה של שבעה ילדים במוסדות חינוך לא יכולה לנדוד בעקבותי) וממקור פרנסתו (כרצף באזור השומרון) לא ננקט כנגד שום אדם בעל עמדות אידיאולוגיות מאויבי ישראל בין הערבים ובין האנרכיסטים ואנשי זכויות אדם למיניהם.

מדוע אנשי המחלקה היהודית בשב"כ אנא הצג בפניהם את השאלה הזו. מדוע הם מתנכלים לי בגלל דעותיי. ואם הם מסבירים שיש להם כלפי האשמות אחרות – אדרבה! שיחשפו את הפעולות שעשיתי או תכננתי לעשות בפועל. אני אשמח לדעת על כך, כי במפגשים איתם, הן בבתי משפט והן בשיחות סגורות, נאמר לי שאין להם ראיה ספציפית נגדי ושמסוכנותי היא ברוח הכללית שאני מפיץ. כאמור, אני מעיד על עצמי שעיקר פעילותי כלולה בדברים הנ"ל.

Gone are the days when Knesset Members and ministers can slack off and YOU the voter know nothing about it. Attached is our Report on the first (Summer) session of this Knesset which has just terminated. The report lists all activities and initiatives carried out by all MKs in pro-Israel ("right") parties, pertaining to all pro-Israel topics such as Palestinian state - danger for Israel, building Judea and Samaria, encouraging critical-location outposts, protecting civil rights for right-wing persons including settlers, checking hostile media, balances for the High Court of Justice, no release of terrorists, promoting the war on terror, and checking hostility of Israel's Arab population.

It's hard for some of us to read the attached detailed Hebrew report of political activity, so after first thanking Gidon, our volunteer graphics editor, here is a summary of our name-by-name results!
