Volunteering on election day is an easy way to make a difference!
If you call *5382 or email your name, cellphone and city of residence to zazimyemina1@gmail.com, bingo! you become an election day volunteer.
What is needed is folks like you who will, come election day, in the afternoon or evening hours, knock on 20 doors. You'll be given exact addresses of course.
All you do is to ask the person who opens the door, whether s/he has already voted. Very easy! Very effective!
Where? Not anywhere. Only in special areas, where support for the right is HIGH but voting participation is LOW.
The cities which need your help (which have HIGH support for the right and LOW voting participation) are the following:
Jerusalem, Bet-Shemesh, Tel-Aviv, Petah-Tikva, Bnei-Brak, Ashdod, Ashkelon, Ramle, Kiryat-Malachi, Kiryat-Gat, Beer-Sheva, Dimona, Ofakim, Sderot, Haifa, Zfat, Netanya, Tveria, Afula and Migdal-haEmek.
You don't need great Hebrew skills, either! Your enthusiasm and volunteer spirit are enough!
It's very important for us to get out the vote in this way. One person can easily "find" 5 more voters in this way, if not more, and that can literally swing the results.
The difference between a dangerous leftwing government and a solid rightwing government can be as little as 2 puny Knesset seats!
